


The Asian Journal of Sustainable and Intelligent Engineering Systems (AJSIES) publishes original research articles, reviews, and innovations across the full spectrum of engineering disciplines, strongly emphasizing integrating sustainability principles and intelligent system technologies. The journal encompasses traditional/classical engineering fields such as mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, and industrial engineering; modern and applied engineering including computer, aerospace, mechatronics, robotics, biomedical, environmental, and petroleum engineering; interdisciplinary and emerging fields such as nanotechnology, renewable energy engineering, cybersecurity, agricultural engineering, and systems engineering; as well as specialized and niche engineering areas such as acoustical, fire protection, textile, mining, geotechnical, forensic, and transportation engineering.
AJSIES particularly highlights Sustainable Engineering, covering clean energy technologies, green building and sustainable architecture, waste management, circular economy approaches, and climate change mitigation and adaptation technologies; and Intelligent Engineering Systems, which include artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, digital twins, and decision support systems across diverse engineering applications. The scope further extends to Smart Infrastructure & Industrial Systems, such as smart cities, Industry 4.0, intelligent manufacturing, smart grids, and intelligent transportation systems; and Emerging & Cross-disciplinary Fields that combine advanced materials, sustainable biomedical engineering, and multidisciplinary integration to develop efficient, adaptive, and environmentally responsible engineering solutions.
The journal welcomes contributions that present conceptual innovations, novel methodologies, practical applications, or case studies that bridge the gap between sustainability and intelligent systems in engineering. By fostering knowledge exchange and advancing technological innovation, AJSIES aims to support the development of responsible, high-impact engineering solutions that address the needs of both industry and society on a global scale.
Asian Journal of Sustainable and Intelligent Engineering Systems (AJSIES) invites any manuscript addressing a relevant engineering topic that employs an established and recognized scholarly approach and also impacts or is generalizable to national and international populations. Research reports that employ sophisticated research designs and research that rigorously follow naturalistic research methods are preferred. All manuscripts must provide a thorough review of the literature that establishes the research problem or the issue at hand and a thorough conclusion that addresses the implications and limitations of the research or argument.
