The International Journal of Health Systems and Well-Being (IJHSWB) relies on the expertise of reviewers to maintain the quality, credibility, and integrity of the journal. These guidelines support reviewers in providing constructive, fair, and timely feedback.

1. Purpose of Peer Review

The peer review process ensures that:

  • Published articles meet high standards of academic quality and originality.
  • Research is evaluated fairly, objectively, and confidentially.
  • Authors receive constructive feedback to improve their work.

2. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Assess the Manuscript: Evaluate originality, relevance, clarity, methodology, ethical considerations, and contribution to economic strategy and business management.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Comments should be professional, respectful, and aimed at improving the manuscript.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Manuscripts and review content must not be shared, discussed, or used for personal purposes.
  • Declare Conflicts of Interest: If a reviewer has a conflict (e.g., personal, financial, or professional relationship with the author or institution), they must inform the editor and decline the review.
  • Meet Deadlines: Timely reviews are essential for efficient editorial decision-making.

3. Evaluation Criteria

When reviewing a manuscript, consider the following:

  • Originality and Significance: Does the study contribute new insights to the field?
  • Relevance: Is the topic aligned with the scope of IJHSWB?
  • Clarity and Structure: Is the paper well-organized, logically argued, and clearly written?

Reviewers should provide:

  • Confidential Notes to Editors (if needed): Concerns that should not be shared with authors.

5. Ethical Considerations

6. Recognition of Reviewers
