Governing Body & Contact

The International Journal of Health Systems and Well-Being (IJHSWB) maintains peer review standards while increasing the process’s efficiency.
The initial review process takes at least 3 months. Double-blind peer review is used in the review process.
All research articles published in IJHSWB undergo a full peer review, the key characteristics of which are as follows:
1. Suitably qualified experts review all research articles.
2. The Editor-in-Chief makes all decisions regarding publication based on the reviews provided.
3. Members of the Editorial Boards generally lend insight, advice, and guidance to the Editors-in-Chief and assist in decision-making on specific submissions.
4. Managing Editors provide the administrative support that allows IJHSWB to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors alike.
Peer review of the referred papers:
Editors of IJHSWB will decide promptly whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insight of the supporting journals. Editors will also have the option to seek additional reviews when needed. The authors will be advised when the Editors decide that further review is needed.
Peer review of the novel submissions:
Articles submitted directly to IJHSWB will be fully peer reviewed by appropriately qualified experts selected by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received.
The Editors will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper. Priority assessment will not be a factor in decision-making; however, all papers must make an incremental or novel addition to the literature.
